The short version

SkipDelta is a browser extension that helps you understand your DeltaMath coursework. These Terms explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We kept them short and readable on purpose. When we say "we" or "SkipDelta," we mean this product; "you" means whoever is using it.

Agreeing to these Terms

Installing or opening SkipDelta, or paying for a plan, means you've read these Terms and you're okay with them. If any part doesn't sit right with you, the answer is simple: don't use SkipDelta.

Age and purchases

SkipDelta isn't meant for kids under 13, so please don't use it if that's you. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use SkipDelta. Any plan bought for a minor has to be purchased by a parent or legal guardian, or with their okay. That adult agrees to these Terms on the student's behalf and is responsible for the charges, renewals included.

What SkipDelta actually does

SkipDelta is a Chrome extension, plus a web dashboard, that generates explanations to help you make sense of the math in your DeltaMath coursework. It's a study aid. It is not a substitute for actually learning the material.

Using it fairly

You're responsible for how you use SkipDelta, and that means keeping it on the right side of your school's rules. When you use SkipDelta, you agree to:

• Follow the academic-honesty and coursework policies of your school, class, or program.
• Treat it as a learning tool — to understand the steps, not to hand in work you didn't engage with.
• Own the work you hand in. Whatever you submit is your responsibility, whichever tools helped along the way.
• Stay within the law and not use it to deceive or defraud anyone.
• Keep your own account login private and not share or resell your access.

How your teacher or institution defines acceptable use is between you and them, and following those rules is on you.

A word on academic honesty

Schools take honesty seriously, and so should you. Leaning on any tool in a way that breaks your school's rules can lead to a failing grade, a disciplinary hearing, a revoked credit, or a mark on your record that follows you. SkipDelta can't shield you from any of that, and we won't be on the hook for it. Use it to genuinely get better at the math — that's what it's for. We're not DeltaMath — and here's how SkipDelta really works

Who we are. SkipDelta is built and run entirely on its own. We aren't DeltaMath, we aren't affiliated with DeltaMath or the company that owns it, and nobody at DeltaMath, your school, or any other learning platform has sponsored, endorsed, or approved us. "DeltaMath" and any other product or company names you see on our pages belong to their owners. We mention them only so you know what SkipDelta is compatible with.

Where it runs. SkipDelta lives inside your own browser, as a layer you turn on and stay in control of. It only works on DeltaMath pages you've already opened yourself, while you're signed in to your own account. If your account can't see something, SkipDelta can't see it either: it has no side door into DeltaMath's servers or your school's records.

What it won't do. SkipDelta never hooks into, tampers with, or reaches inside another company's systems or anybody's account. Specifically, it doesn't:

• sign in to DeltaMath for you, or ask for, hold, or manage your DeltaMath login;
• get around, switch off, or meddle with logins, paywalls, licensing, or any other access control;
• scrape DeltaMath's servers;
• pretend you have access to anything beyond what your own account is allowed to view.

DeltaMath's content stays theirs. We don't publish DeltaMath's problems or materials, host them for other people, sell them, or pass them around, and the same goes for answer banks. That content remains the property of whoever owns it.

Your license to use SkipDelta

When you sign up, we give you a personal license to use the SkipDelta website, Chrome extension, and dashboard for your own studying. It's limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable, and we can take it back. In plain terms, you can't:

• copy, modify, or reverse engineer SkipDelta or any piece of it;
• resell, rent out, or sublicense your access to someone else;
• share your login with friends, classmates, or anyone else;
• scrape SkipDelta or pull content out of it with bots or other automated tools.

If you break these Terms, we can suspend or close your account. Losing access that way doesn't come with a refund, except where our Refund Policy says otherwise. SkipDelta itself — the software, the site, the content, and the name — stays ours. Your license lets you use it; it doesn't make you an owner.

Sold "as is"

SkipDelta is offered "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it accurate and running, but we don't promise it will be flawless, uninterrupted, or a perfect fit for every assignment, curriculum, or way of studying. We make no guarantees — spoken or implied — about the accuracy of any solution, the uptime of the service, or the grade you'll end up with. DeltaMath and browsers change over time, and a change on their end can affect how SkipDelta behaves.

Plans, renewals, and refunds

SkipDelta plans are subscriptions, billed up front for the period you pick: weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel it. You can cancel whenever you like from your dashboard, or by sending us a request through our support ticket page, which works even if you don't have an account. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Purchases are final and non-refundable, except as set out in our Refund Policy. The short list: we refund you if a problem on our side stops SkipDelta working and we can't fix it, if you were charged twice or billed by mistake, or if a charge on your account wasn't authorized by you. Nothing else in these Terms takes away a refund that the Refund Policy gives you.

You're also responsible for keeping your login secure. We can't replace access that was lost because your credentials were shared or left unprotected.

Where our responsibility ends

To the fullest extent the law allows, SkipDelta isn't liable for any loss or damage tied to using — or being unable to use — the service. That covers direct problems like errors, downtime, or glitches; knock-on effects like lost time or missed deadlines; and bigger consequences like lost credits, lower grades, lost data or saved progress, or reputational fallout. It also covers any penalty or discipline a school hands down over your use of it. You use SkipDelta at your own risk and accept whatever comes of that. None of this cuts into the refunds described in our Refund Policy.

You're in the driver's seat

Every choice you make with SkipDelta — what you submit, how you use a solution, whether it lines up with your class rules — is yours. We give you the tool; the judgment is on you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as SkipDelta evolves. When we do, the new version takes effect once it's posted here, and the "Last Updated" date at the top will tell you when. It's worth checking back now and then. Continuing to use SkipDelta after an update means you're okay with the revised Terms; if you're not, stop using it.

Acknowledgment

By using SkipDelta, you're confirming that you've read these Terms, you understand them, and you accept responsibility for what you do with the service — including staying honest and following your school's rules.
