Where we stand on privacy

SkipDelta is a browser extension that helps you work through DeltaMath problems. To do that, we hold a small amount of information about you and your use of the tool. This policy lays out what that is, why we keep it, and where the lines are. The headline you should remember: what you do inside SkipDelta stays between you and us — we don't tell your school.

What we keep

Here's the information that passes through SkipDelta:

• Account basics — your name, email, and the username and password you set up. If you tell us your school or grade level during signup, that's here too.
• Login and access records — the user and account IDs, session tokens, and subscription status we need to sign you in and remember which plan you're on, plus a history of account access for security.
• How you use the tool — when you open it, which features you use, the math topics you work on, session length, and your settings.
• Payment details — what's needed to process a purchase, such as a PayPal email or card information handled through our payment processor.
• Device and connection info — your IP address and rough location, browser type and version, operating system, and diagnostic logs or error reports that help us keep things running.

Why we keep it

We only use your information to run SkipDelta and make it better. In practice that means:

• Signing you in and keeping your session secure.
• Delivering the extension's features and the DeltaMath solutions you came for.
• Processing payments and tracking your subscription.
• Spotting and blocking fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
• Understanding which features help, so we can improve the tool.
• Answering you when you reach out for support.

We never loop in your school

This one matters, so we'll be direct: we do not share your data with schools, teachers, districts, or any learning management system, including DeltaMath. SkipDelta runs independently, and your activity in it is not reported to your institution. Full stop.

When information does leave us

We don't sell or trade your data. There are only a few narrow cases where it's shared:

• Service providers — trusted vendors who handle things like payments, hosting, and analytics on our behalf. They're bound to protect it and can't use it for anything else.
• Legal reasons — if the law or a legitimate law-enforcement request requires it, or if we need to act to protect people's safety or our own rights.
• A change in ownership — if SkipDelta is ever merged, acquired, or its assets sold, your data may move as part of that deal. We'll let users know if that happens.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We hold your information only as long as we need it to run the service and meet legal obligations, or until you ask us to delete it. To keep it safe we use encryption for sensitive data, tight access controls, session management with automatic logout, routine security reviews, and regular backups. That said, no system on the internet is ever perfectly secure — so please do your part with a strong, private password and don't share your login.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to show you the data we hold, fix anything that's wrong, delete your data, hand you a copy, limit how we use it, or stop marketing emails. To make a request, email us and we'll handle it within a reasonable time.

Students under 13

SkipDelta is built for high-school and college students, and we don't knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If we learn we've picked up data from a child under 13 without a parent's okay, we'll delete it promptly. If you think that's happened, tell us and we'll fix it.

Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy as SkipDelta changes or as the law requires. Updates take effect once posted, and the "Last Updated" date above shows when we last touched it. For big changes we'll give users a heads-up. Keep using SkipDelta after an update and you're accepting the new version.
