Using SkipDelta Responsibly
Last Updated: October 7th, 2026
What SkipDelta is for
SkipDelta exists to help you get the math. When a DeltaMath problem has you stuck, it generates an explanation of what's going on. The goal is that the next problem of the same type feels easier, because you actually understand it.
What we expect from you
- Follow your school's rules. Your school, your teacher, and your class set academic-integrity rules and honor codes. Those rules apply whenever you use SkipDelta.
- Check what your course allows. Some teachers welcome AI and study tools; others limit or ban them for certain assignments. If you're not sure, ask before you use SkipDelta on that work.
- Own what you submit. Whatever you hand in is your responsibility, no matter which tools helped along the way.
What we don't condone
We don't support using SkipDelta to turn in work that isn't yours when your school's rules say it has to be. And if your teacher has said no outside tools on an assignment, SkipDelta shouldn't be open for it.
Why it matters
Math builds on itself. Skip the understanding in one unit and the next one gets harder, and the gaps tend to show up when it counts. There are real consequences too: schools can respond to integrity violations with zeros, failing grades, suspensions, or a note on your record. We'd much rather you walk away knowing the material.
Questions?
If you're unsure how any of this applies to you, send us a question through our support ticket page. It works without a SkipDelta account. Our Terms of Service cover the rest of what you agree to when you use SkipDelta.
